You’ll also have the opportunity to soak up the energy and atmosphere that is both present and past Athens. Linger in open-air restaurants and wander markets, scenes which are all framed by the magnificent Acropolis that reaches high into the sky.

Day by Day Itinerary

Athens & The Greek Islands Cruise- AGI – 9 Days

Day 1

Start the adventure of a lifetime by overnight flight from USA to Athens, Greece

Day 2

Arrive in Athens, Greece and by greeted by your Tour Manager at the airport. Transfer to your centrally located hotel and get checked-in before taking to the streets on a Tour Manager led walk of the hip Plaka neighborhood. Sit down altogether for a delicious Welcome Dinner in the evening.

Day 3

Spend your morning on a guided sightseeing of Athens led by an expert local guide. Learn all you can on about the Acropolis, experience Olympic Stadium and much more. Enjoy lunch in old time and a free afternoon to explore more of Athens.

Day 4

Let’s go island hopping! Board your cruise and sail off to Mykonos Island where you will arrive in the early evening. Make the most of your evening to explore the dreamy iconic Greek island which is known as the “island of the winds” with its distinctive windmills. Return to your cruise ship at night for your overnight journey to the next port.

Day 5

Today you’ll explore Kusadasi and Patmos. Enjoy an included bus tour in Kusadasi which will take you on a journey to discover the ancient Ephesus, built 3,000 years ago. Discover the Bazar of Kusadasi before you cruise over to the hourglass-shaped island of Patmos, known among locals as the “Holy Island” named after St John the Apostle. Spend the afternoon and evening here and take up an optional excursion if you wish. You’ll depart for Rhodes in the evening.

Day 6

Arrive in Rhodes in the morning and join an included half day medieval tour – the Acropolis of Lindos and the Citadel of the Knights. Follow in the footsteps of heroes as you walk along the Knight's Street in the heart of historical Rhodes. Depart in the early evening as you sail towards Heraklion, Crete.

Day 7

Sailing into Heraklion in the morning, marvel at the Koules Fortress that guards the ancient capital of Crete. Enjoy some free time in Heraklion or join on an optional excursion to Knossos, the center of Minoan civilization which has been called Europe's oldest city. Then be back onboard around lunch time for your next island hop to Santorini. Here you’ll be greeted by striking cliffs which are vertically dotted with traditional white Greek houses and blue domed churches. For those that are keen, take up the optional excursion to Oia before you start your sail back to Athens at night.

Day 8

Disembark your cruise in the early morning. Transfer to Athens and make the most of your included free day to explore old town or why not visit one of the many museums. In the evening, gather together for a delicious Farewell Dinner in the Old Town and reminisce over everything you’ve seen and done… where has been your favorite?

Day 9

Transfer to Athens airport for your return flight to USA.

The “starting from” rates are based on low season departure date for groups flying out from central and east coast major airport hubs. Rates are including our standard ratio of free travelers (Group Leader + Chaperones).

Rooming/Cabin

Multiple room/cabin rate is for travelers sharing one room with triple or quadruple separate single bed formations.
Twin room/cabin rate is for two travelers sharing one room with two separate single beds.
Double room/cabin rate is for two (an adult couple) sharing one room with one large king size bed.
Travelers can specify who they would like to share a room with when enrolling otherwise they will be matched up into these room formations based on age and gender.
External Cabin is a cabin with a window towards the sea.

Rate Exclusions

Rates do not include excess airline luggage fees, nor transport to/from USA airport.
Potential fuel surcharge added by airline or cruise company.

Exchange Rates and Inflation

Rates are based on no/little fluctuation (less than 5%) in exchange rate between USD and Euros. Should the USD weaken significantly towards the Euro a correction in tour price would be done accordingly.
Rates are not adjusted to inflation rate. Should annual inflation have an impact on supplier cost, we may have to make adjustments to tour rates accordingly.

Minimum Number of Travelers

Minimum amount of travelers is 26 + Group Leader/s.

TOUR MUST BE 25% PAID BY – 180 Days prior to departure
TOUR MUST BE 50% PAID BY – 120 Days prior to departure
TOUR MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY – 60 Days prior to departure

Once your tour is activated, your group can sign up online from your private tour page (similar to this) and secure their space by paying the registration fee of $150 pp. If you would like more information, please feel free to contact us or the Group Leader who is organizing this tour.

Travel Seasons
